The director managed in just an hour and a half in an ingenious way to show male friendship against the background of many historical events that have been replacing one another for more than thirty years. A real, male friendship, which cannot be unstuck, so that it does not interfere - war, separation, bitter losses ... And the director managed to show all this in just an hour and a half, without inventing any innovations, without “sticking” any philosophical arguments, without sticking no pathos - this is extremely, very simple film, but what is it all the same brilliant ... I do not even have words to fully express my delight about the film. I'm just amazed! Probably not a single film showing us the post-revolutionary, pre-war, military, post-war life as a whole could not show it so vividly, so ingeniously, as interestingly as we see it in the film...
