Miracle of life

A little bit about the ideological component of the film, as she introduced herself to me. 4 heroes characterize the sphere-images, around which the narration is twisted:

- generous, noble and educated hero Tom Hanks, a man whose actions do not depend on the outside world, but only on his personal convictions (working in prison, he does not become angry and cruel to the suicide bombers who are completely in his power); all the orders coming from above he exposes to a thorough moral assessment and opposes the commission of unjust actions (compare with Hannah Hmitz from the film "The Reader", which without a trace of pity destroyed hundreds of Jews only because such an order was from the authorities);

- John Coffey, personifying the healing riot of life, the desire for life, for good and compassion, but at the same time, and the punishing hand of the Lord;

- Billy, brutally cruel and insane person, the absolute incarnation of evil and darkness, who will stop at nothing for his own entertainment;

- cowardly, cruel, assertive at the expense of causing pain to weak and defenseless people, the prison guard Percy.

The film develops at the points of intersection of these characters with each other. What kind of sacrifices this dance of opposites turns into, what will be the payment of each of them - this is ready to share with the viewer the "Green Mile".

The fact that every actor played absolutely convincingly, that the story is smooth, but at the same time tightens the viewer, I will not paint - here and so said about this in most reviews.

Real art does not answer questions, but it sets them to its viewer, and after viewing this picture, you will certainly have something to think about.

Therefore I recommend to viewing.
