"Sometimes the Green Mile is so long .."
The film "The Green Mile" is one of the best, if not the best, film adaptation based on the books of Stephen King. And here, first of all, it is worth to note the direction of the film, because many of Frank Darabont's films have become simply masterpieces of cinema, which can be reviewed several dozen times. But, back to the film itself.
So, the film itself is direct, you can say the verbatim film adaptation of Stephen King's book "The Green Mile" with a minimum of cut-out moments, so I think this is the main reason why it is so successful.
As for the cast and his game, he is perfect, because Tom Hanks is the actor who masterfully plays very vital roles and gets used to the inner world of his character. The rest of the actors also "did not disappoint", especially Michael Clarke Duncan, who excellently played the burglar and hefty Paul Coffey and stayed inside as good-natured as his character in the book.
Generally I will say that the film itself is not for sentimental natures, since in the end it will penetrate to the tears of any spectator, as well as me, so for girls watching a movie with guys is mandatory. But, in fact, we can say that this cult film can be freely ranked among the number of films for family viewing.
In conclusion, I must say that the film is mandatory for viewing by everyone, not just the fans of Stephen King, because it affects such "strings" of the human soul, to which it is sometimes difficult to reach.
PS: I know that soon we will all die, but sometimes the Green Mile is so long.
