This is a suicide bomber. The suicide bomber is coming.

The first time I watched this film as a schoolboy, then I did not understand yet the skilful work of the director and the fine actor's work of all the characters in this film. Only when that age of understanding of the chic in all senses of films came, only then I was able to appreciate the power of this beautiful masterpiece.

So, the actors: the protagonist (the deceased at the moment, Michael Clarke Duncan) played his part at the limit of his capabilities. In Hollywood, not a few excellent actors, but not all of them are able to cope with such a difficult role, brilliantly playing every emotion and reaction of the hero who was so sensitive in this film.

The second main character (Tom Hanks) also coped well with his task in this film, was able to convey the surprise and all the emotions that his character experienced. He always liked me as an actor, because in my opinion there was not yet a film in which he would play poorly, but this role is one of the best in his career.

You can further list such wonderful actors as Sam Rockwell and David Morse, as well as others who also played their roles as they could, but given the number of reviews before me, their merits have already been taken into account.

The plot: it is quite simple at first glance, an ordinary suicide bomber falls into the cell before execution, relationships with other prisoners and their guards. But then there are pitfalls, because of which interest increases, despite the length of the film.

I believe that the main essence of this film was to show to the beholder how much each of us sometimes needs help and support, and when such individuals arise from time to time who sincerely want to help - their merits are for some reason not simply not appreciated, but also reject and despise .. After all, people are afraid of what they do not understand. Especially considering the current society, and not the one that was at the time when this film was shot.

And here the director remarkably showed it with the help of John Coffey, as well as his prison guard Paul Edgcombe, who could understand and penetrate, despite the rules and the moment of direct misunderstanding that he was able to overcome by accepting and realizing all that was happening.

The reason that made me write this review is negative feedback, which I read and was surprised.

I really understand how many people - so many opinions .. But I'm surprised that people who simply can not seem to either because of their age, or because of some exorbitant current bar understand this film, accept it, especially a wonderful game of actors, which many would envy even in our time, for some reason just to overshadow it with their ridiculous arguments and to pour mud, only from a misunderstanding. This is very depressing ..

And that people who will find time to read my review did not think that I'm trying to raise my positive opinion over the negative that is there, I will immediately say in this regard that for the sake of interest, I decided to get a little acquainted with the cinematographic interests of people who overshadow this film, because at first I thought that people who write such big and "sublime" negative posts should be very much in this understand .. However, in fact I saw that they write mostly people who put 10 points to stupid comedies and fil mums of horrors, like "Angrybirds in the movies," or the mediocre films like "Divergent" that was shot with exactly the same story as the similar ones before him, but the modification and the current technologies are apparently so steep that people like to eat the same thing, do not choke at the same time, and then still ask for supplements. And this despite the fact that I wrote a little about the plot of the film, about it there are 5 monitors not to describe the whole point.

In general, I sum up: those who have not yet seen this masterpiece - MUST view, do not pay attention that the film is 3 hours, every minute is worth watching.

Endless respect for the late Michael Clark Duncan, as well as for the wonderful actor Tom Hanks, who helped Duncan to bring this film to the highest scale.
