Classic tearful, but still classic

I will not flatter this film flatteringly, without going deep into anything at all. I will express my opinion about the plot, the game about the actors and my personal opinion about the film and the viewing experience. I'll tell you first what the film is like.

I watched this movie quite recently. I do not think that a week has passed. At the beginning of the picture you involuntarily think: "And in this film you have to cry?", But over time, thoughts that deny this thesis are moving away, and you are beginning to think about how not to cry for the tenth time. 3 hours - fly unnoticed. Only you plunged into the world of 1935, so you immediately take it there with your head. This happens really rarely.

Viewing this movie is life in it. You experience characters, you worry about their future, and you regret the past. Before you can arrange everything comfortably, beautifully and on the shelves, I would like to say that this film is in no way recommended for viewing to people who have not reached the age of 14-15. My friends who watched the film at an early age told me that at 10-11 they did not understand what and why others were crying while watching this tape. Therefore, I advise, attaching my child to the real masterpieces, not to let him watch this film until he has gained enough experience and information, otherwise the message about doing good, self-sacrifice in the name of the great and struggle with evil will not be especially clear to them.

Tom Hanks is an excellent and brilliant actor. I consider him one of his favorite actors of the "old school". But, for some reason, he did not show himself here. After watching the "Spy Bridge" in 2015, I was ready to applaud Tom, but here - no. Yes, he plays nice enough (for his abilities simply do not give him a fit), but still he will have a poker game quite often, and especially I was surprised that when everyone cried or was on the verge of tears, including myself, ours dear Paul Edgecomb, knowing Coffey's innocence and watching what happens is made only a sad look in memory of a man.

Michael Duncan - well, here without comment. Play such a complex role - worthy of a separate respect. "Oscar" and the honor is absolutely deserved. It is a pity that recently we lost such a genius, because it is mainly his game and the way he passed his story and makes you shed a tear.

David Morse - very good, but unfortunately a little raspiarenny actor. One of the little-known, but the most excellent actors. The last few years he took the first and secondary roles in second-rate films, for the most part he plays in TV shows. In the film I coped with "Hurray", a very pleasant role and a competently chosen actor.

Doug Hutchison - the same nasty, over-licked Percy. During the film, I had a clear dislike for this character, which means that Doug coped as well as the rest. I could even say that he played almost the best. Of course Michael Duncan does not outplay, but the actor is good.

Sam Rockwell - perfectly fit into the role of a rabid murderous villain. There was the same disgust for him, as for Percy.

Barry Pepper - played a young officer. The only one who cried, for which I am grateful to him. A nicely played character. Of course, does not pull on the "Oscars" and "Golden Globes", but at least worthy of praise.

Frenchman with mouse, officers and others - A prisoner with a mouse played by Michael Jeter is clearly drawn to the "Golden Globe" or, at least, something that can mark his game. A man played at an absolute maximum, when watching, I marked his acting. He died 13 years ago. Rest in peace, Michael.

Serious man James Cromwell is very good, because James I often see in films of varying sizes in the role of a policeman or a politician who can very well give on the brains. Officers of lesser magnitude did not shine very much in the picture, but they entered the frame well. The women Cromwell and Hanks in this film look nice, but no more. Men still "dragged" on themselves scenes.

Outcome:

In the end, we get one of the best films in history. Frankly, I've never cried when watching movies. Here I cried both in the middle and in the end. One of the best acting compositions that I had to see. All perfectly fit into their roles and also perfectly performed them.

Watch with those who are not ashamed to cry in the voice.

Absolute and uncontested
