“I'm not afraid to die”
You just have to go to this movie. Do not expect anything from him, because you will see quite what you most likely expected. The film is very cruel, dark and gloomy, but so real and beautiful that you immerse yourself in this film.
Someone may say that he is tightened, but I looked at him in one breath, clenching my palms in a fist, I was worried about Hugh Glass - DiCaprio throughout the entire tape.
One feels that this film was shot by Alejandro González Inarritu. Very long doubles that are difficult to remove in such conditions, for that you respect the entire composition of this picture. Wide panoramic views of nature, which show how beautiful our nature is, and how cruel people are.
This picture will not leave you indifferent, although the plot is quite simple, the whole point of the film is certainly not in it, but in the actors who played just flawlessly in nature that is incredibly beautiful and at the same time cruel, and of course in the very atmosphere that we gave this painting.
What I liked:
1. Playing the actors is simply a masterpiece, if DiCaprio is not given an Oscar for this role, for the film academy, you can safely sue. He played so real that it is beyond doubt that he lived with the Indians in the woods in the mountains all his life. His views, his breathing, his voice, absolutely everything is played brilliantly and so deep that he has goosebumps.
Tom Hardy - The main antagonist of the picture, I didn’t like it right away, he played on so many rotten characters that he wanted to strangle or drown him, but he played just great - Bravo. And yet: his hoarse voice in the voice acting was one-on-one as in "Return of the Dark Knight" without treatment. For some reason I paid attention to this.
2. Nature and panoramic views also did their job, they change dramatically from very aggressive to calm and quiet. I really liked these changes.
3. Camera work - Emmanuel Lyubetsky, the main operator has worked for all 1000%. Simply brilliant shooting, very long doubles and their smooth transitions look gorgeous, even better than in birdman, and shooting so many long takes in such wild conditions also deserve an Oscar !!!
4. Scenes. The scenes are selected very simply, but so brilliantly filed and implemented so much that you stop from delight. One scene with a bear is worth something, how was it shot at all? Very powerful, very cruel, very strong and very real !!!
Look all, the picture will not leave you indifferent.
