Green Mile

What is life in fact, if not one single test given to us by the Almighty? By testing whether we deserve such a great gift as life, are we worthy of them and what values are driving us to live on? This film directed by Frank Darabont very closely examines the topic of the value and meaning of our entire existence by the example of an undeservedly accused person whose appearance forever changed the lives of a huge number of people and especially the warders of the local prison who first began to doubt the validity of their work.

Everyone knows the master of literary horror Stephen King as much as possible departed from the horrors usual for his creativity and created perhaps one of the best works in his already incredibly rich work, which is no less ideally embodied on the screen perhaps one of the best directors of the old guard in the person of Frank Darabont . If the "Escape from Shawshank" was a unique exception, this film becomes a unique statement of the ideal coherence of the joint work of King and Darabont on the example of this artwork.

It would seem that the film has a very intimidating timing at three hours of screen time, which in fact should have frightened off, but Darabont put the film in such a way that all three hours of time fly by in an instant, and the film produces the most aesthetic pleasure from such a deep and strong paintings. After all, the whole value of the picture is precisely in the emotions that Darabont laid in his picture. Naturally, not without cruel scenes involving the final execution of John Coffey, the film is full of drama, depth and humanity, which literally induces humanity in each of us.

After all, this film is about what actions we commit throughout our life and how much of the actions we committed will pursue us for the rest of our lives. Hence, most importantly, does the number of good deeds that we have accomplished exceed all of our negative actions in our entire life? After all, in fact, this very "green mile" is in fact only a final possibility of realizing the value of one's life to its end and realizing what we left behind.

Tom Hanks masterfully performed the main role of the picture and unambiguously played one of the best roles in his career. Thus, with dignity, proving the usefulness of the nickname "America's Favorite", to which it was presented not only by critics, but also by ordinary spectators. Awesome roles were played by such actors as David Morse, Sam Rockwell, Barry Pepper, James Cromwell and many others who became a very important part of the whole acting team.

Especially the late Michael Clarke Duncan, who also played a better role in his career. After all, it was she who turned out to be much deeper and stronger than the usual career of images of blunt pitching and just people with a mountain of muscles. Thus, visually reflecting on the screen the amazing talent of this fellow. He rest in peace.

The green mile is a very profound, emotional, vital, sad and painful picture of the value of the life given to us, the deeds that we have committed in our entire life and their weight, which, until the end of our life, will pursue us without the possibility of easing our burden.
