"It's like when you want to destroy something beautiful ..."

The film, in my opinion, turned out to be very interesting and unusual. Of course, with these words, one must first turn to the original source of the plot, namely, to Stephen King's novel The Green Mile, which was written shortly before the filming of the film in 1996.

In the title, I did not in vain indicate this phrase, since it, for reasons I do not understand, interested me and remembered me the most. In the film, I did not hear it, but I remember perfectly well from the book. It was expressed by Bart Hemmersmith, when he raped Paul Edgkum as a dog attacked his son. This of course was an unpredictable action, after which Bart was forced to shoot his tame mongrel ... This action was also the assumption of why John Coffey committed such a terrible crime, allegedly due to overflow of incomprehensible feelings in him. Someone believed in it, some did not, some did not want to believe anything, and quickly put John on an electric chair. But the fact remains that there were no witnesses as such at the time, which was followed by hasty conclusions and accusations of people ... However, the film would not be so interesting, and would not deserve such a high rating if everything was so predictable.

The play of actors is certainly on top. I would probably even assume that between 1996 and 1999 the actors were selected and prepared for filming, and they were picked up perfectly, right from the book!

In conclusion, I would like to say that the Green Mile has left in me both joyful and sad impressions, but definitely pleasant, to see the film is worth anyone who has not seen it, time will not be wasted.
