Nothing hurts so much as pride.

"Green Mile" - the same film adaptation of the novel "King of Horrors" by Stephen King, directed by the cult film "Escape from Shoushenk" by Frank Darabont, starring Tom Hanks.

Plot: The film begins with the fact that the former warden of the federal prison Paul Edgcombe (Tom Hanks), who is in a nursing home, tells his friend memories of working at the Green Mile.

During the period of work in prison, the block "E" receives a huge black man John Coffey (Michael Clarke Duncan), sentenced to an electric chair for the murder of two girls, while possessing amazing magical abilities.

Tom Hanks. The owner of two Oscar awards this time got the image of the chief warden of the "death row" Paul Edgkoba, who remains at the same time a loyal friend, a responsible worker and a loving husband. The courage and tranquility that is inherent in this character, Hanks transmitted at the highest level.

Michael Clarke Duncan: An African American of enormous size, sentenced to death for a crime which he did not commit. Perfectly transmitted image of a man with a big and kind heart, who throughout the movie sympathize and empathize. Brilliantly!

Sam Rockwell: The cold-blooded killer and maniac Wild Bill, who created real madness, devoid of all human qualities, transferred Rockwell simply delightful.

When the Lord calls to his judgment the righteous, He will ask me: "Why did you kill one of my real miracles?" What will I tell him? What is this my job?

The conclusion: "The Green Mile" is a masterpiece of the world cinema, which tries to convey to all people that the world is unfair, endowed with rigidity, anger and betrayal, but if you become a little kinder and smile with a look at this world, it will become the most sincere and bright.
